THINGS TO DO IN BRIDGEWATER

 There is plenty of scope for a fantastic day trip along the river, soak up the sights and enjoy the piece and quiet. 

  Gold Prospecting, Rock Climbing, Abseiling and looking at rare wildflowers and aboriginal hertiage can be done at the local Kooyoora National Park. Reputed to be the home of the infamous Captain Melville who hid out in the caves and robbed the gold wagons passing below. There is plenty to do and see and is worth a day trip.  

 There are extensive tracks along the river and don't forget to take your camera as there is heaps of photographic opportunities along the way. 

 Meeting regularly, summer bare feet bowls tournaments, enjoy a social or serious match, relax in good company.
